Course Description
Lockout Tagout LOTO Safety provides water and wastewater personnel with essential training on preventing unexpected equipment startup and hazardous energy release during maintenance and servicing operations. The course focuses on energy-isolation procedures, the six-step LOTO process, group lockout practices, verification methods, and compliance requirements aligned with 29 CFR 1910.147. Learners gain practical knowledge of applying lockout devices, maintaining proper documentation, conducting audits, and coordinating safe work activities to ensure controlled environments and protect workers from hazardous energy hazards.
