Cybersecurity (SCADA/OT)
Course Pack: Cybersecurity
2. Cybersecurity Part 2 – SCADA & OT Systems
Course Description
OT & SCADAÂ Systems Training Course provides a comprehensive introduction to Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) and Operational Technology (OT) systems used in water, wastewater, and industrial environments. This course is designed to help learners understand how critical infrastructure is monitored, controlled, and automated through modern digital systems.
Participants will explore core SCADA architecture, including field devices, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), human-machine interfaces (HMIs), communication protocols, and data acquisition systems. The course also covers OT network fundamentals, system integration, remote monitoring, alarms, data logging, and cybersecurity considerations for industrial control systems.
By the end of the course, learners will be able to understand how SCADA and OT systems function together to ensure efficient operations, improve system reliability, and support real-time decision-making in water and wastewater management environments.
