Course Description
Flammable Liquids provides water and wastewater professionals with essential training on the safe handling, storage, and control of combustible and flammable liquids used in utility operations. The course focuses on understanding liquid hazards, regulatory requirements, ignition prevention, and safe transfer practices, including bonding, grounding, and proper ventilation. Learners gain knowledge of spill response, hot-work permitting, inspection procedures, and compliance measures needed to reduce fire risks and maintain a safe, controlled work environment.
