Course Description
Ergonomics for Utility Operations provides water and wastewater professionals with essential training on identifying and reducing ergonomic risk factors that contribute to musculoskeletal injuries. The course focuses on proper lifting techniques, workstation setup, tool selection, and vehicle-based ergonomic practices for field, laboratory, and treatment plant environments. Learners gain practical knowledge of early symptom recognition, ergonomic aids, and preventive work practices designed to reduce strain, improve comfort, enhance productivity, and support long-term workforce safety.
