Course Description
Fire Safety Fundamentals provides water and wastewater operators with essential training on fire prevention, fire behavior, and emergency response in facility environments. The course covers fire chemistry, classifications of fires, proper fire extinguisher selection and use, ignition-source control, and housekeeping practices that help reduce fire risks. Learners gain practical knowledge of alarm procedures, evacuation planning, muster point requirements, and incident reporting protocols to support regulatory compliance, enhance workplace safety, and improve emergency preparedness.
