Course Description
This module provides a technical overview of safe hand and power tool operation within water and wastewater environments. Learners learn proper tool inspection, guarding, task-appropriate selection, and the application of PPE to prevent kickback, pinch-point, electrical, and flying-debris hazards. The training also addresses storage, transport practices, GFCI use, and lockout considerations necessary to meet regulatory and facility safety standards.
