Course Description
This module delivers advanced instruction on the safe operation, inspection, and limitations of SCBA equipment used during hazardous atmospheric entries and emergency responses. Learners learn hands-on donning and doffing techniques, seal-check and functional-test procedures, and integration of SCBA into chlorine or ammonia response scenarios. The training also covers air-management principles, cylinder maintenance, hydrostatic testing, and documentation requirements to support a compliant respiratory-protection program.
