Course Description
Welding Safety provides water and wastewater personnel with essential training on managing hazards associated with welding, cutting, and hot-work activities in utility environments. The course focuses on proper PPE selection, fire prevention, ventilation and fume control, gas exposure awareness, and safe hot-work procedures. Learners gain knowledge of regulatory requirements, hazard identification methods, and emergency response practices needed to safely perform maintenance and repair tasks while maintaining compliance and protecting worker safety.

2) Use PPE such as welding helmets, gloves, and FR clothing
